BRAULIO INGREDIENTS: OUR HERBS

Our ingredients are selected using a slow and traditional process like that of herbal remedies. There is much guessing and secret about type and number of the herb combination: some say 11, some say 13, others 15. Only 4 are known for sure

  • WORMWOOD

An herb with ashy green leaves and yellow flowers. It grows wild in mountainous areas. This herb is characterized by its strong odor and bitter taste. The top and leaves are believed to be a tonic for the stomach and stimulate digestion.

  • YARROW

An herb with slender roots. If crushed, it exudes a strong and pleasant camphor smell. It is used to prepare soothing digestive teas that are characterized by a bitter taste and strong aroma.

  • JUNIPER

Juniper berries are harvested only in autumn when fully ripe and are recognized as balsamic for the respiratory system.

  • GENTIAN

Gentian grows at high altitudes, up to two thousand meters. The roots of adult plants are collected in spring or fall, cleaned without water, cut into pieces and dried in the sun.
